2011 Courage To Ride Bicycle Tour
We are excited to announce that the 2011 Courage To Ride Bicycle Tour is scheduled for Sunday, July 24!
We’re offering 4 routes this year: a 5-mile route (Beginner/Intermediate), a 12-mile route (Intermediate/Advanced), a 25-mile route (Challenging), and a 50-mile route (Very Challenging).

Richard M. Sand, Esq., Honored as a 2011 Inductee
Philadelphia, PA, April 6, 2011 – On April 5, 2011 Richard M. Sand, the managing partner of the Philadelphia law firm Sand and Saidel, P.C., was inducted into The Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame. Sand’s induction recognizes accomplishments in martial arts that span nearly 50 years, specifically in the art of Tae Kwon Do. Sand is the founder of the Philadelphia School of Korean Karate, a school which has operated continuously since 1967 and has taught more than 20,000 students in the tri-state area. Sand was a fighter, trainer and promoter. He was instrumental in bringing professional kickboxing to the Philadelphia area in the 1970s.
In addition to his legal practice and martial arts career, Sand is the author of a mystery book series. 1000 copies of his latest novel will be delivered to United States Air Force troops serving in the Middle East.
Sand’s law firm focuses on education law, workers’ compensation and insurance defense. Sand served on Governor Corbett’s Transition Team. He is an adjunct professor at Philadelphia University.
